Diciptakan tahun 1952 oleh Max Freedman dan James Myers, namun langsung menjadi hits di charts AS maupun Inggris sejak dibawakan oleh Bill Haley and His Comets tahun 1954. Uniknya lagu ini selalu keluar-masuk dan jadi jawara di chart AS dan Inggris di era ‘60an, ‘70an, ‘80an, bahkan 2000an.

Originally written in 1952 by Max Freedman and James Myers. But the song itself became an ultimate hit when Bill Haley and His Comets released it in 1954.
